Was born in Marion County, Indiana, 1848. He worked at Patoka, Illinois, where he began his ministry. He served the church at Sailor Springs and founded the churches at Latham, Riverton, Dawson and Morgansville. He is a plain, sincere man and good preacher, whose thirty years' work in the ministry has been fruitful.
