The closing days of the sojourn at Sinai were distinguished by, (a) dedication of the tabernacle (Ex., 40:1-38), (b) the second passover (Num., 9:1-14), (c) the first enumeration (Num., 1:1-46; 3:1-39), (d) the offerings of the princes (Num., 7:1-89), (e) the law given regulating the positions of the various tribes in the encampment and the order of march (Num., 2:1-34; 10:14-28), (f) the law concerning the silver trumpets (Num., 10:1-10).
