J. V. Updike From Kirby, Ohio (1875)

From Kirby, Ohio.

BRO. FORNEY: The meeting in Kirby is still growing in interest. Quite a number have made the good profession. Yesterday we fellowshiped seven. We hope they will be faithful. Last evening there were fifteen at the altar for prayer. Three made the good profession. The priest of this place was present the other evening. We heard he said that he did not see any harm there. Since that we have quite a number of his members to preach to. We still ask you all to pray for the Church in Kirby.

J. V. UPDIKE.
