J. V. Updike Meeting at Center School House, O. (1876)

Meeting at Center School House, O.

The meeting at the above-named place was largely attended. It was in progress over two weeks. Had everything been as it ought among those that make a profession of religion we might have had a glorious revival of religion. However, we went to work in earnest and before the meeting closed some persons made a profession of religion; one has been converted since the meeting closed. During the meeting, Bro. C. O. Coder preached twice, Bro. Rockwell twice, Bro. D. S. Warner twice, Bro. J. B. H. Kaufman once. Have fellowshiped four; also fellowshiped four at the Indian Mills at my last appointment. Have meeting now at Bruce school house.
