J. V. Updike Revival in Findlay (1876)

Revival in Findlay.

The good Lord is still at work. Up to this time about thirty-six have been to the altar. Thirty have made a profession of religion. We have extended the right hand of Christian fellowship to eighteen. Three of those that came to the altar and were pardoned stood in fellowship with the church. Reclaimed and united, both, twenty-one. I fear that some will go back to the sects. I shall do my best, by the help of God, to save them. To God, and him alone be all the praise. Pray for us.

J. V. UPDIKE.
