BRO. FORNEY: I wish to express the gratitude of some of the poor on my charge for a donation of $15.10, from the Berry Church, Mercer co., Ohio, sent by Bro. G. H. Reynolds, subject to my distribution. God bless the mover and all the contributors in this good work.
These brethren seeing my notice for seed, and knowing that it would be too late to send seed, they took this way to respond, which, indeed, is fully as well, as the people have been about all supplied with seed; but money is needed for many things, especially in the western part of my mission many have pretty hard times to live. But about all are cheerful, contented, and hopeful of better times. Large crops are being put out, with scant feed for teams.
