BRO. FORNEY.--Our fifth ordinance meeting on Seneca Circuit was held with the Church of God at Hopewell Bethel, where there are still a few faithful workers in the Church, although the cause at this place is in a very low state. We enjoyed a very good meeting together. We will still hope and pray for better things at Hopewell.
Our sixth, and last, ordinance meeting, for this part of the year, was held with the Church of God in New Haven, on the 22d of June, and although we were obliged through the sectarian opposition which exists there, to hold our services in the town hall during these meetings, yet the meeting proved a grand success. On Sabbath after the forenoon services, we directed our course with the multitude to the shady brink of a flowing stream of water, where four happy believers were buried with Christ by baptism. The day being bright and fair it made the occasion a very pleasant one. In the evening we had both a shower of rain and of divine grace. Elder D. S. Warner preached to the people on Sabbath morning and evening. God bless his labors in the far west. Amen.
