According to assignment, the Standing Committee of West Ohio Eldership, met at Rock Run Bethel, Wyandot county, Ohio, May 29th, 1871. Items of business transacted were as follows:

      1. On motion, all the brethren present be received as advisory members of this Committee.

      2. Bro. T. James made application for license to preach. After examination, it was thought inexpedient to grant him license at present, but would advise him to further improve his talents under the supervision of Elder D. S. Warner.

      3. On motion, we authorized the Treasurer of the Board of Missions of the West Ohio Eldership to pay Elder W. Adams $24.45, which was the balance due him at our last Eldership meeting, held at Hopewell, in October, 1870.

      4. On motion, Bro. S. M. Gaskill received preaching license, and is hereby appointed to labor in connection with Elder Warner, on the Seneca Circuit, until next fall.

      5. Resolved, That we have our Eldership camp-meeting at the same place it was last year, in Mercer county, Ohio, unless a more central and suitable place can be found for said meeting, and if it can, let the individuals finding such a place report the same to Elder T. H. Deshiri, at Kirby, Wyandot county, Ohio, before the first of July, 1871.

      6. Resolved, That the following circuits each raise the sum of $13.00 for Superannuated Funds: Williams county, St. Mary's, McComb, Findlay, Seneca, and Wyandot; Church at Pleasant Hill, Marion county, Ohio, $8.00. This money is to be raised before the next Eldership meeting.

      All the above items were adopted.
