Revival at Vermillion, Ohio.
DEAR BRO. FORNEY: We have just closed our meeting at the above place which lasted over three weeks. Most of the time it was very wet, and roads extremely muddy, still we had a fair congregation to preach to, and the meeting was quite lively, many shouts in Zion's camp. There were twenty that professed conversion, four were immersed, and seventeen fellowshiped. More would have been fellowshiped, and nearly all would have been immersed, but the meeting was informally closed by the heavy rain and bad roads preventing the ordinance meeting and baptism, which will be attended to soon. I had the able assistance of Brother G. W. Wilson through nearly all the meeting, who has our thanks. There is a good, strong band of brothers and sisters who worship in the Vermillion chapel. May the Lord preserve the whole flock blameless until his glorious coming. I shall soon begin a meeting at Blooming Grove, Richland County. A general invitation is extended for helpers.
