W. O. Standing Committee.


      Proceedings of the West Ohio Eldership Standing Committee, after the agreement of the East Ohio Eldership to be transferred with its interests to the West Ohio Eldership.

      On the evening of the 16th of October the Standing Committee met at the house of Bro. Long, near Hayesville, Ashland county, Ohio, in connection with one member from each circuit of the E. O. E. as transferred to West Ohio to represent the wants of the said circuits.

      1. On motion, Resolved, That Jacob Durstine and Eld. S. Lilley assist in making boundaries of circuits.

      2. The Ashland circuit be composed of Bloominggrove, Shenandoah, Briggle's, Vermillion, McKay, and Brubaker's.
      Mohigan circuit--West Salem, Lattasburgh, and the Brick near Reedsburgh.
      Smithville circuit--consisting of Madisonburg, Cedar Valley and Smithville.
      Copley circuit--Copley, Upper Sugar Creek and Moreland.
      Lower Sugar Creek circuit--Lower Sugar Creek, Walnut Creek, Shanesville, Milner's and Stone Creek.
      Stark circuit--Tritt's bethel, Greensburgh, Stump's bethel, Canton, New-Berlin and Hartville.

      The preaching brethren be stationed as follows:
      Ashland circuit, D. S. Warner.
      Mohigan circuit, G. T. Kimmel.
      Smithville circuit, James Neil.
      Copley circuit, S. Dickerhoof.
      Lower Sugar Creek, H. M. Lynn.
      Stark circuit, Thomas James.
      Lexington station, I. Little.
      Seneca circuit was divided and supplied as follows:
      Seneca circuit consisting of West Auburn, West Liberty, and Conley's, Eld. S. Lilley.
      New Washington circuit, consisting of New Haven, Union Center and New Washington, J. S. McKee.

      4. That the church at Wooster be permitted to supply herself with a pastor, and that whoever fills said pulpit do it according to the constitution of the General Eldership.

      The above report was adopted by the East Ohio Eldership before closing its business sessions and completing its transfer to the W. O. E.
