ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC EDITION OF
YOUNG FOLKS IN BIBLE LANDS.


      The electronic edition of B. W. Johnson's Young Folks in Bible Lands has been transcribed from the first edition of the book. Grateful acknowledgment is made to Jean Cobb, Archivist, and to Mary Beth Halford, Reference Librarian, of the T. W. Philips Library, Bethany College, for making a copy of this book available through interlibrary loan; and to Carol Reiner of Adams Memorial Library for arranging the loan. Thanks also to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society for the loan of a second copy of the book, from which the images were scanned and portions of the text verified.

      In transcribing and editing the book, I have let stand inconsistencies in the use of italics, the expression of numbers, spelling, abbreviations, and so forth. Pagination has been represented by placing the page number in brackets following the last complete word on the printed page. Emendations are as follows:
