MORNING
The light of the body is the eye: therefore
when thy eye is singled, thy whole
body also is full of light.
HE natural man receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God: for they
are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.--Open thou my eyes, that I
may behold wondrous things out of thy
law.
I am the light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.--We all,
with unveiled face beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord, are changed into
the same image . . . even as by the
Spirit of the Lord.--God, who commanded
the light to shine out of darkness,
hath shined in our hearts, to give
the light of the knowledge of the glory of
God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of glory, . . . give unto you
the spirit of wisdom and revelation in
the knowledge of him: . . . that ye may
know what is the hope of his calling,
and what the riches of the glory of his
inheritance in the saints.

EVENING
He smote the rock, that the waters
gushed out, and the streams
overflowed.
LL our fathers were under the cloud,
and all passed through the sea; and
were all baptized unto Moses in the
cloud and in the sea; and all did eat the
same spiritual meat; and all did drink
the same spiritual drink: for they drank
of that spiritual Rock that followed
them: and that Rock was Christ.--One
of the soldiers with a spear pierced his
side, and forthwith came there out
blood and water.--He was wounded for
our transgressions, he was bruised for
our iniquities: the chastisement for our
peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed.
Ye will not come to me, that ye might
have life.--My people have committed
two evils; they have forsaken me the
fountain of living waters, and hewed
them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that
can hold no water.
If any man thirst, let him come unto
me, and drink.--Whoever will, let him
take the water of life freely.
