The Book commonly called "The Bible" is
radically different to all other books. It is unique
in its contents, in its history, and in its influence
upon mankind. This little volume was put forth
ten years ago, as an attempt to call attention to
the great difference referred to. In revising it for
a new edition the author finds little occasion for
change in the text. Except for the addition of
a few sentences, and for a change here and there
in the interest of greater clearness, the text
stands as originally published.
