Tenn., 1884; returned to Georgia and served the
following churches: Wrightsville, Tennille, Sandersville
and Valdosta; planted the one at Harrison;
served out of the state: Orange, Cal., one
year; Phoenix, Ariz., two years; Ocoee, Fla., two
years. Married Mattie E. Carter, Lake Park, Ga.,
1897. His labors are largely mission work.

1893; preached for church at New Liberty
1893-4; Lawrenceburg, Ind., 1895; Milford, Ill.,
1896-7; Hoopeston, 1898-1900; DuQuoin, 1900-3.
Organized three congregations; built three
churches. Married Mattie B. McGhee May 24,
1894. Two sons, Julius Barbee and Robert McGarvey.
