Born on a farm near Bowling Green, Ohio,
March 29, 1867; 18th child in a family of 19 children;
his parents were devout Christians; his
father was elder in his home church for more
than 40 years; took his Bachelor and Master's
degree at Bethany College, and has since done
two years of University work. He has labored as
minister and evangelist in the West, Ohio, Indiana,
and is now located with church at Hoopeston, Ill.
