LEWIS B. GROGAN was born in Marion county, Missouri, in 1843; but moved with his parents to Fannin county, when ten years of age. He was baptized at the age of twenty-two. He was married in 1870 to Miss J. E. Bates, of Hunt county. He was educated at Carlton College, at Bonham, Texas. He has been preaching and teaching with success for a number of years. He is now at the head of a flourishing school at Lone Oak, Hunt county, Texas. Bro. Grogan is one of the editors of the Primitive Missionary.
