Born: On Atlantic Ocean, 1800.
Died: Walnut Hill, Illinois, 1850.
He was one of the pioneer preachers of the Restoration movement and a coworker with Alexander Campbell. He was on a missionary tour from Ohio into Illinois when he sickened and died. His body was buried at Walnut Hill.
