Was born in Washington County, Ohio, 1831. He became a Christian in 1863 and began preaching at once. He was also a railway engineer. Loss of hearing came with advancing years, so that he was compelled to cease work. He is a man of fine character whose life has been filled with good works. He resides at Fairfield.
