Died: Indiana, 1893.

James Connor was born in Tennessee in 1810, was brought to Indiana in 1812, and died there in 1893. His ministry in Illinois reached only from 1859-65. He resided on his farm near Humboldt. That was the time of monthly preaching and protracted meetings. He worked in Coles, Moultrie and Douglas Counties. He was a preacher for more than sixty years.
