Died:

A son of H. H. Smithson. Grew up on a farm. Attended public schools and Austin College in Effingham. Taught six years in public schools. Began his ministry in 1900. Served county and village churches. Pastor at Grayville, Mt. Vernon, Flora and St. Elmo. Is now at Streator. He is ambitious to be helpful beyond the local field of his labors.
