Born: Whiteside County, Illinois, 1842.
Died:

Came to his manhood in his native county. Took a little turn at military service the last year of the war in the 156th Regiment Illinois Volunteers. Attended Bethany College. Most of his ministerial work has been done beyond Illinois, but here he has served the Table Grove and Armington congregations and elsewhere.
