Born: Peelar Station, Virginia, 1847.
Died:

Was a mail-carrier, farmhand, carpenter and lumber merchant. Attended the public schools and Eureka College. Gave Illinois churches ten years of upbuilding work. He has a son in Johnson's Bible School preparing for the ministry, which he considered "a far better place for such work than Chicago."
