EV. WILLIAM GRIMES was one of the pioneer ministers,
who labored in Virginia and North Carolina.
He belonged to the North Carolina and Virginia Conference,
or as then commonly called, the "General Meeting."
In 1832, he attended the General Meeting held at
Lebanon, in Surry county, Virginia. He died at an advanced
age.
