EV. ABNER WALKER lived in Caswell county,
North Carolina. At the General Meeting of the
North Carolina and Virginia Conference at O'Kelly's
chapel, in 1836, his ordination was authorized. He attended
the General Meeting at Lebanon, in Surry county,
in 1839. He was an exemplary Christian and Elder
whose influence went out for good. But his ministry
was local, serving the churches in his immediate neighborhood.
