| for the glory of Christ and the ongoing of His cause, |
| this book is Dedicated. |
| Humanly they wrought, yet with prophetic vision |
| of a far-off day, when, as living stones |
| growing into a habitation for God through the Spirit, |
| they might exhibit to a divided Church of Christ |
| the divine unity of a world Brotherhood-- |
| at last testifying to the 'oneness' of all His followers-- |
| that for which he prayed and strove-- |
| and which once sufficed the Master |
| as he shared our human ways. |
