OBITUARY NOTICES.
OUR much esteemed and beloved friend and brother SAMUEL MARSHAL, of the borough of Washington, Penn. departed this life on Friday, February 25th, 1835, in the 44th year of his age, after a confinement of near three months. His death was the result of a pulmonary consumption, with which he had been affected many years. He bore his last illness with christian fortitude and resignation, and died in the full hope of a blissful immortality, of which he gave satisfactory evidence to such of his religious acquaintance as conversed with him in his last illness. He will long be remembered as a zealous and faithful disciple--a benevolent and useful citizen, by a large circle of respectable friends and brethren.
