     The one week of intensive study of the word of God which was held July 1 - 6 at Flat River, Missouri, attracted students from thirteen states, Canada and Formosa. The class numbered 209 at its maximum. Leroy Garrett taught the prophecy of Isaiah; W. Carl Ketcherside taught the subject "Backgrounds of New Testament Writings." Each had nine sessions for development of his theme. Jordan Wen, from Formosa spoke at one session. Brethren from Bonne Terre and Farmington assisted in providing housing and entertainment for the guests. At the close of these studies an announcement was made of a like study the first week in July next year.
