     Sister Loney had to undergo hospitalization again recently, and this will tax the resources of the family, because of the increased costs of the hospital care. Let us help relieve the burden. Homer McCloud, Valdosta (Ga.) who has been seriously ill is able to attend services once more.... Vincent Beck, Prince Edward Island (Canada) sends five subs for which we are thankful.... Connie Sterner, 14, Franklin (Neb.) won a silver medal in beef showmanship at Nebraska State Fair. She is the daughter of Bro. and Sister T. L. Sterner.... Charles Loney and Darlene Stoddard were married at Chillicothe (Mo.) Sept.22, and Leroy Garrett, who performed the ceremony spoke twice to the congregation while in Chillicothe.... Dale Loney and Betty Akers were married at Lawrence (Kansas) October 6.... The congregation at Golden (Cob.) will soon start erection of a new meetinghouse.... Attendance at the Labor Day meeting at Jay Street congregation in Denver (Colo.) exceeded expectations, with a number of good speakers presenting edifying messages.... There were 152 persons present for the anniversary meeting at Compton (Calif.) Sept. 22.... Brethren at Pana (Ill.) have been putting up signs along the roads to advertise their place of meeting.... E. F. Lawrence, Murray (Ky.) enjoys the paper a great deal. Bernie Crum now lives at Brookport (Ill.).... Ray Duffey has been working at Senath (Mo.) recently. He will enter college next month.... Jim Mabery held a tent meeting near Bloomfield (Mo.).... Tom Dennis conducted a meeting at Hartshorn (Mo.) with good interest.... We regret to report that Imogene Holloway, Ft. Worth (Texas) died under surgery Sept.20.... Roy Cogdill and Guy N. Woods will debate questions relating to the orphan homes and Herald of Truth, Nov. 18-23 at Birmingham (Ala.) and O. C. Dobbs, Sr., announces that the congregation at 300 18th St. S.W., will have day sessions for all who wish to attend.... We have a fine letter from Bro. and Sister Paulsen at Red Cloud (Neb.). . . Bro. J. B. Kendrick of Wigan, England, has submitted a treatise which is too lengthy for our limited facilities, but which we have been sharing with other interested brethren.... Thanks to Hines Jones (Georgia) for 5 subs, and to Kenneth Inman (Mo.) for a five year sub.... Ebb Whisenand says that Hershel Ottwell will be with brethren at Oblong (Ill.) this fall.... Ellis Crum and L. C. Roberts labored in the work at Wabash (md.) which started Sept.29.... Three immersed recently at Windsor, Ontario (Canada).... Thanks to Clyde Scott (Mo.) for 7 subs.... Leroy Durley writes from Sacramento (Calif.) that he still enjoys the paper and thinks the Zerr Commentaries are the best.... Alvin Gerstenschlager expresses appreciation for the articles "That They All May Be One." He lives at Bonne Terre (Mo.).... Any brother who is free to labor for a number of months in building up a small congregation in New Mexico, and do missionary work among the Indians in the area, should correspond with Wilbur Storm, 1618 East B St., Glendale, Arizona.... and Vernon Hurst was with the brethren there for several days later.... Keith and Doris Young, Nixa (Mo.) have a little boy.... Vernon Hurst spoke four nights at Manchester Avenue, St. Louis (Mo.).... We are sorry to report the death of Bro. C. L. Berry, Ashland (Ore.) Fred Killebrew conducted funeral services Sept. 25.... The saints at Palmdale (Calif.) meet in Moore Hall at 6th Street East and Avenue R.... Dale King (Texas) says he has received much good from the paper.... Vic and Gloria Richards write from El Paso (Texas) that their prayers are for restoration and Christian unity. Ours are too!... After 34 years of division the two congregations at Wauneta, Nebraska, united once more to serve the King together. This occurred sometime ago, and Richard Hollinger writes that is is "good and pleasant to dwell together in unity." We thank God for this exhibition of the Christian spirit and pray for these brethren in their future service.... Jerry Culley immersed one at Braymer (Mo.) in his meeting which closed Sept.22.... Jerry Richards conducted a meeting at Cowgill (Mo.) in August.... Robert Brumback conducted a series of training classes in Phillipsburg (Kans.) and also closed the first meeting held in the new building at Meadville (Mo.) on Oct.27.... John and Norma Reynolds, Wichita (Kans.) have a new baby girl, Kendall Sue, whom they adopted October 1.... Gerald Hadley has been conducting special work at Galesburg (Ill.) including public and house to house teaching.... We regret to learn of the death of Sister Effie Watts, King City (Mo.) on.... The wheel chair fund for Mary Louise Richason had reached a total of $438.00 on October 8. Contributions should be sent to Robert Brumback, 3931 Harrison, Kansas City (Mo.) in line with our appeal on page 14 of the October issue.... The congregation at St. Joseph (Mo.) is studying the Hebrew letter with special mimeographed material on the background and outline of the book.... Bernie Crum recently finished a series of meetings at Bicknell (Ind.) and will probably be in a like work at Iberia (Mo.) when you read this.... Three obeyed the gospel at Tunbridge Wells (England) in the gospel meeting held there.... He will visit St. Louis congregations from Nov. 11-27.... Bro. John Bandy, 70, and Sister Minnie L. Dorman, 69, were married at Summersville (Mo.).... We regret to report the death of the little 3 weeks old son of Don and Betty Neff, Flat River (Mo.).... Mrs. Katherine Howard, who was 97 years old, July 5, is the oldest member at Cottonwood Falls (Kans.).... We sympathize with Sister Edith Lenker, Shippensburg (Penn.) in the loss of her husband, Oct. 12.... It is good news that Marie Duren, Arab (Ala.) is doing fine after a major operation....
