Lillian Avenue Crowd
For a number of years, congregations in the St. Louis area have taken
advantage of the opportunity afforded for fellowship on New Year's Eve. The gathering held at
Lillian Avenue Church this year attracted the largest audience in a number of years, with the
building crowded to capacity. Congregations at Overland, Oak Hill Chapel, and Webster Groves,
presented the edification period for the first two hours, under direction of Harmon Thompson,
Willard Young and Herbert Estep. The last portion of the program consisted of a discussion of
fellowship with Leonard Bilyeu acting as chairman.
