     Bob Duncan directed the vacation study at Bloomington (Ind.).... Thanks to E. B. Herndon (Colo.) for five subs. We regret to report the death of Sister Naomi Douglas, of Festus (Mo.). Lloyd Riggins is in a vacation study at Compton (Calif.) and we are glad to report improvement in the condition of Sister Riggins.... John Fleener conducted a vacation study at Shelbyville (Ill.); Carol Bailey at New Liberty (Ill.); and Roy Loney, assisted by Daniel Munger, at Sullivan (Ill.).... Jim Mabery had charge of the vacation study at Bonne Terre (Mo.) and Don Cain assisted. The editor conducted three studies at New Liberty (Ill.) while at Windsor for the commencement address.... We are sorry to report hospitalization of Jewell Hamilton, Compton (Calif.) and Lulu Simms, Festus (Mo.).... About 175 guests helped celebrate the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Bro. and Sister W. N. Inman, Nixa (Mo.).... Jerry Reece conducted the vacation study at Red Cloud (Neb.). Roy Harris will teach school at Jamestown (Kansas) next year and assist congregations in that area.... Maurice Howard is doing evangelistic work in the vicinity of Pana and Vandalia (Ill.). Burl Price and C. Y. Quackenbush were speakers at an all day meeting at Neal (Ill.) on May 25.... Thanks to the W. R. Sterners at Red Cloud (Neb.) for ten subs.... Roy Loney was scheduled to work with Leland King at Cottonwood Falls (Kans.) following which he planned to be in Colorado and New Mexico. It was our privilege to attend services with the little group of brethren meeting in the YWCA basement at Hibbing (Minn.) June 1.... Bill Thurman, 830 Eli St., Dallas 11, Texas has prepared a treatise entitled "The Negative Case" in which he presents his views in favor of the premillennial position in opposition to the views expressed in "God's Prophetic Word" by Foy E. Wallace; "New Testament Interpretation of Old Testament Prophecies" by James D. Bales; and "The Kingdom of the Messiah" by the editor of MISSION MESSENGER. Those interested in the other side of the story should write Bro. Thurman for a copy of his essay or review.... We regret that the next installment of Bro. Crum's thesis on "The Work of An Evangelist" did not reach us in time for publication in this issue. We held space as long as we could. We hope to continue the series in our next issue.... June 8. Ollie Ladd immersed 2 more there on June 16.... We are saddened by the death of Harold Warren, one of the elders at Dean Avenue, in Des Moines (Iowa).... E. M. Zerr directed a study at New Castle (Ind.) June 2-20.... Roy and Mildred Anderson, Compton (Calif.) have a baby daughter, Beverly Elaine, born June 6.... We regret to chronicle the death of Homer A. Gay at Dallas (Texas), May 24. Bro. Gay was one of the editors of Old Paths Advocate.... Jewell Hamilton underwent surgery at Lynwood (Calif.) and will be hospitalized about a month.... June 21, 22 marked the occasion of a young people's meeting at Decatur (Ill.) where a new building has been erected for use of a new congregation recently planted.... Roy and Grace Jennings, Boonville (Mo.) have adopted a little two-year-old Korean-American orphan, through the Harry Holt Adoption Program, Creswell, Oregon. Little Heidi Lynn

is the fifth baby they have thus taken into their home.... C. Agnes Wilson (Mo.) sent a five year subscription.... Paul Patterson (Ill.) sends two three-year subscriptions.... William Hensley conducted the vacation study and meeting at Independence (Mo.) where the membership now totals 98.... We regret to learn of the death of Mary Wren and Arthur Thompson at Windsor (Canada). Kenneth Van Deusen recently closed a good vacation study at Topeka (Kans.). E. M. Smith had 47 enrolled in the vacation study at Jay Street in Denver (Colo.).... With 3 more nights to go at Ellington (Mo.) Bernie Crum reported 1 restored and good crowds.... The editor spoke for brethren at Golden and Denver (Colo.) June 15, and at Topeka (Kans.) June 29. The brethren at Golden are making good progress on their new building.... Hershel Ottwell tells us that the vacation study at Nebo (Ill.) was well attended with good interest.... Paul Ketcherside assisted in the Centennial Celebration at Lily Grove meetinghouse, near Chillicothe (Mo.) on July 6.... Albert Winstanley reports a season of spiritual blessing in his work at Scholes, Wigan (England).... One immersed at Windsor (Canada) in the meeting conducted by C. R. Turner and Ellis Crum.... More than 130 persons attended the young people's meeting at Kirksville (Mo.) where Lawrence Swearingin taught a vacation study, and then went to Springfield (Ill.) for another study of the same type.... Ellis Crum reports shipments of his new song hook "Sacred Selections for the Church" to France and Alaska.
