     To help answer the prayer of Jesus for the oneness of all believers, I will

1. Regard the division of believers into factions and sects, as displeasing unto God.
2. Refuse to accept such division as the normal condition, but look upon it as abnormal.
3. Imitate my Lord in praying for unity of all believers.
4. Steadfastly refuse to create new divisions by making nothing a test of fellowship which God has not made essential to salvation.
5. Go anywhere, any time, to consult with any one about matters of difference to eliminate schisms.
6. Deal courteously and kindly with all who differ, knowing that this is our only hope of bettering conditions.
7. Love all men with the godly philanthropy which is a part of the divine nature.
8. Work and write for correction of abuses and achievement of scriptural unity. I will seek to pluck up thorns, and plant fragrant flowers. I will wage peace!
9. Never cease to believe and trust that conditions can be changed by a proper approach in harmony with God's will. --W. Carl Ketcherside.
