John Douglas and Beatrice Van Deventer were married Dec. 14 at Kendallville (Ind.).... Robert Brumback and wife spent several weeks in Phoenix (Ariz.) with their daughter and family.... Carl Painter and Dorothy Moyers were married at Fredericktown (Mo.) on Dec.20. Ray Duffey is laboring to assist the little congregation at Bismarck (Mo.).... The study at Dallas (Texas) conducted by Leroy Garrett and W. Carl Ketcherside, was inspirational and helpful. Bro. Garrett taught an analysis of the "Sermon on the Mount."... We regret to chronicle the death of Bro. William Haywood, of Ellington (Mo.).... James Graddy is home from the service and anxious to be back in the work of the Lord. He may be addressed at Senath, Missouri.... Fred Killebrew immersed one as a result of his study at Bridge congregation, near Dexter (Mo.).... Loren Honn spoke at Oak Hill Chapel, St. Louis, January 4.... Congratulations to Bro. and Sister C. Y. Quackenbush, Mattoon (Ill.) who have a son, Timothy Lee, born Sunday, Nov.16. This fine Christian couple have been married 23 years, and have reared two adopted children, David, now 17, and Sue Ann, 15.... Two immersed, two added by membership transfer at Mattoon (Ill.). Bro and Sister Lonnie Elam, Milan (Mo.) have a new boy, Larry Fern, born December 26.... Harold Shasteen performed the wedding ceremony for Jerry Durbin and Janet Miller, December 31. We regret to report that Bro. A. W. Harvey, Bloomington (Ind.) already suffering from paralysis, sustained further injury in a fall.... We are saddened to report the death of our aged sister, Nancy D Skaggs, in Springfield, Missouri.... Mrs. William Ketcherside, mother of the editor, is hospitalized in Topeka, Kansas, as the result of a second stroke.... Wm. Hensley closed a two weeks study at Shelbyville (Ill.) Jan. 18.... The Julius Michinis have transferred membership to West Riverside (Calif.) from Phoenix (Ariz.).... Ronald Perryman was ordained an elder at Festus (Mo.) on Jan. 11 by Harold Shasteen.... Congratulations to Lloyd and Karen Lee Gastineau, who were married Dec.26, at Garden Grove, California....
