If you are not a subscriber, you are missing a dignified and scholarly approach to many of the problems in religion and education.... About 36 men met at M. and M. Cafe, Springfield, Illinois, February 28, to discuss "What Is Meant by Restoration?" The subject for the next forum on March 28 will be "Distinguishing Between Faith and Opinion."... Ellis Crum aided in a gospel song fest at Middletown, Indiana, March 21 and 22.... Roy Loney has published an article on "Thoughts On Fellowship" by C. R. Turner. Incorporated in the leaflet is an article by Bro. Loney, setting forth his views relative to those who use instrumental music in worship. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Callahan want us to thank all of you who sent cards to their son. This lad is seven years old and it is always a question whether he will continue on earth. If you'd like to send a card to cheer this little boy who must constantly struggle against such odds, mail it to Larry Callahan, 520 Austin Street, Potosi, Missouri. It will not take long and it will mean so much!... We are saddened by news of the death of our aged Sister Steele, at Blackridge, Scotland. Although these brethren use instrumental music in their public praise service, they deferred such use during the study. This was not a stipulation, for the study would have been conducted in any event, but their attitude is charitable and kind. Several other such studies are now in the process of being arranged.... Remember that we will send you extra copies of this issue free upon request if you can use them.... Several have asked us to discontinue the paper because of the attitude manifested in the replies of some of our brethren who are critical of our stand. We are sorry, but we feel obligated to allow our brethren to be heard in the same medium in which we express ourselves, regardless of their attitude, and we refuse to be turned into partisans. If you cannot read both sides, the paper will not do you much good anyhow.... Joe and Pat Stark, Overland, Missouri, have a baby girl, Sheila Lynn, born March 13.
