J. W. Watts Dies

     The editor conducted funeral services for his father-in-law, J. W. Watts, at Flat River, Missouri, June 19. Bro. Watts, an elder of the Flat River congregation for forty years, and two terms mayor of the city, departed this life, at Bonne Terre hospital, June 16, after an illness of two weeks. He lived to see all of his six children, and the companions of those married in the church. A man of integrity and outstanding honesty, I will greatly miss him, for I felt very close to him in the Lord Jesus Christ.
