Harold Moor and Vera Waggoner, St. Louis, are recovering from surgery which occasioned severe suffering... William Hensley was scheduled for work at Centerville, Iowa, in the form of a Bible study, starting Nov. 15.... Bob White, James Mabery, and Jerry Reece, spoke on the afternoon of Oct. 25, at Unionville, Missouri.... Bernie Crum spoke at Ore Branch congregation, near Bloomfield, Indiana, on the morning of Oct.25. He reports two added at Bicknell, by membership transfer that night. New Year's Eve services until midnight will be held this year at Bicknell, Indiana.... Vernon Hurst reports an especially good series of studies at Wauneta, Nebraska, on "The Personality and Work of the Holy Spirit." He was scheduled to labor with the brethren in Powell, Wyoming, during November. to hear of the death of Verna Oneth, Springfield, Missouri, November 8.... Reports are that William Hensley will move to Chillicothe, Missouri, to work with brethren in that area. He has been residing in New Castle, Indiana, for several years.... S. M. Davis, Anmoore, West Virginia, was scheduled to enter the hospital, November 16. We pray for his speedy recovery.... John R. Tabor, an elderly brother in St. Louis, Mo., also was forced to undergo additional surgery during the month.... We are sorry to report the death of our aged sister, Mrs. George C. Stillinger, Ontario, California, who departed the life at the age 90 years.... The editor spoke three nights at Richmond, Missouri. In spite of severe and unseasonable cold there were excellent crowds the first two nights, and a capacity audience the final night. Two addresses were also given to High School classes.... Dean R. Garrison, P.O. Box 276, Farmington, New Mexico, has a new 28 page booklet to be used in personal and follow-up work. Carl Ketcherside spoke in the High school auditorium at Columbia, Illinois, November 10, in conjunction with National Education Week. He began a series of meetings at Beech Grove, Arkansas, Nov. 15.... Mrs. Dorothy Rose Lee, 204 West Highway, Savannah, Missouri, would like to make your sermon charts in colors. In our previous issue we said that the anti-class, pro-cups brethren connected with the Christian Appeal faction were motivated by the fact that another group of preachers were working in Africa, to send Bro. C. B. Head to save little heathen children from being taught the Bible in a class conducted by a sister. Bro. William J. Leach, Ballinger, Texas, writes that this was not their purpose at all, and feels that I owe them an apology for this unkind remark. We are happy to apologize and to erase any unjust stigma. The cause we serve will not be helped by uncharitable assertions. We want to help the situation, not make it worse.... Zerr was very critical. Brain surgery revealed some damage to the brain, and he was still in a coma after more than two weeks since the accident....
