One of the largest audiences ever to attend a funeral service in Valdosta, Georgia, assembled in tribute to Dewey Copeland, an elder of the Gordon Street congregation, who died suddenly March 17, as a result of heart attack. Dale and Betty Loney, Ottawa, Kansas, have a son, James Garland, born March 8.... Fred Killebrew reports seven immersed and one restored at Senath, where he began a one week meeting, March 21. Bro. Killebrew is also aiding the brethren at Bismarck each week.... Four congregations attended the song rally at Bicknell, Indiana, March 13.... Bernie Crum conducted funeral services for William Sullivan, at Newark, Indiana, March 14.... Vesper White, Compton, California, underwent throat surgery, March 15.... The congregation of saints at La Verne, California, began regular meetings in their newly remodeled building, located at Third and Lincoln Streets, March 20.... We regret that we did not receive notice of the annual young people's meeting held in Des Moines, Iowa, in sufficient time to announce it in advance. It was conducted April 16, 17, with Jerry Reece in charge.... Our aged brother, W. Wintersgill, East Ardsley, Yorkshire, England, writes that he expects to speak for the brethren at Morley, March 28; and at Dewsbury, April 24. At the age of 90, he has been a member of the one body for 72 years, and still functions as an elder and preacher of the gospel.... A new edition of Davis Dictionary of the Bible has just come from the press and this large volume, which we recommend, can be yours for only $5.95.... Nina Norris, Fort Scott, Kansas, underwent surgery at Mercy Hospital in that city, March 14.... Bob White presided at a song rally in Nevada, Missouri, March 13, and a full house was present for the occasion.... A large audience was present for a special song service at Flat River, Missouri, March 20. Bernie Crum will move to that city next autumn to work in the Lead Belt area.... The meeting scheduled to be held at Eldon, Missouri, by James Mabery, was postponed due to heavy snow.... Remember the fiftieth anniversary meeting to be held at Bonne Terre, Missouri, June 12. Sam and Louise Steinert, Springfield, Missouri, have a baby boy, Sammy Darrell, Jr., born March 21.... Fred Killebrew conducted funeral services for Joe Thornton, Sikeston, Missouri, March 20; and for Franklin Blackwell, Salem, Missouri, March 21.... Arthur and Ruby Horch, Webster Groves, Missouri, have a baby boy, born March 25.... Lynn and June Kinnamon have a baby girl, Lisa Dianne, born March 26.
