Bicknell, Indiana
Special meetings have been arranged by the congregation at Bicknell,
Indiana, to be conducted by W. Carl Ketcherside, on October 1, 2. The general theme will be an
exploration of the divided state of Christendom, and the relationship of the restoration
movement to the problem. On Saturday night, Oct. 1, the subject will be, "Causes and
Consequences of Religious Division." The editor will speak three times on Oct. 2. The morning
topic will be "Faith, Knowledge and Opinion"; at 2:30 p. m., the subject will be, "The Meaning
of Fellowship"; and at 7:30 p. m., "Pathway to Peace." An invitation is being issued to sincere
seekers after truth in all of the contemporary religious bodies in the area, and a special invitation
to those who represent the various schools of thought resulting from the cleavages of the
restoration movement. The presentations will be objective with due regard for the rights of
others. In no sense will attendance be construed as endorsement of the views set forth by the
speaker.
