I cannot put into words how much I appreciate the spirit manifested in your recent articles appearing in MISSION MESSENGER. The things which I admire most are your refusal to be captive of a party, the manifestation of freedom from sectism, and your efforts to unite the people of God....With you, I pray that some day we shall see the church of God shining as a light in a darkened world, free from party names and creeds, and undivided by prejudice and hatred. --Tennessee.

I also desire to see unity in the religious world in the way God intended it to be. I believe you are on the right track in your efforts to bring this unity about. May God help you in your continued efforts to get others to see their legalistic attitude and the dangers of it. --Indiana

We feel sure you are doing the brethren a great service by stimulating their thinking and bringing matters of vital importance to light. The Lord is most surely using you to accomplish a great work and I hope we will all prove worthy of our trust. Spirituality has not meant too much to our people in the past, for most of us have been concerned only about church-anity. --Colorado.

The legalistic attitudes and viewpoints of so many create the basis of division. You are continuing to open my eyes. Please understand that I do not agree with everything you write. But because I am convinced that you have painstakingly and prayerfully examined everything you print, I can do the same....With objectivity I pray I may read your paper. It is a refreshing breeze of spiritual truth in the midst of hurricanes of hate and hypocrisy. --Indiana.

I believe you have, with God's help, awakened many brethren from their sleep. You will never know how much I appreciate what you have done for me. You have provoked thought on my part, which has led me into deeper study of devotion, consecration, and santification, and what it really means to he holy in Christ. --Oklahoma.

The articles on the covenants should be published in a book. I have received so much help from them. I wish that I could have read them years ago. Your article "The Feigned Fiscal Fiat" in Restoration Review was a masterpiece. It explained a lot of things I had wondered about for years. --Indiana.

We have enjoyed immensely your recent issues. Many of these things are solutions to my own problems. I do not know the answer to many of the questions that will be asked, but I hope, through study, to reach the truth on these matters. So long have I realized, as have many of our brethren, that something was lacking. I feel that at last we are on the road to the answer. --Missouri.

I was awaiting the October issue because I was expecting it to be rather exceptional. The entire series on the covenants would qualify as exceptional, but the October number was the climax. It was a masterpiece. I have been in agreement with your teaching throughout the series, exactly one-hundred per cent, but the article on "The Title of the Church"is that part of your diagnosis which identifies the whole sectarian concept of the "Church of Christ." You have given the members teaching that should jolt them into an awareness of their sectarian thinking. I give God thanks for allowing you the vision and courage to spearhead the greatest work in Christendom since the time of Campbell. May God help you to carry on, and may you live to see much good result from your tireless labors. --Colorado.
