Wyoming Study
All of our readers are invited to take advantage of a series of Bible
studies to be conducted at Powell, Wyoming, June 25 through July 2, 1961. Located in the Little
Big Horn Mountains area, and near the gateway to Yellowstone National Park, this provides an
ideal setting for those who wish to make their vacation spiritually profitable. There will be three
sessions daily. W. Carl Ketcherside will teach in the mornings on "God's Purpose Through the
Ages" and at the night meetings on "The Road to Better Understanding." This last will be an
analysis of the problem of religious division, with suggested cures for the condition. The
afternoon class will be taught by Clarence Cassell, an elder of the congregation at Pomona,
California. A devotional service will precede the morning class, and will begin at 9:00 A. M.
Classes will be suspended one day in order to take a conducted tour and enjoy a picnic in the
nearby mountain area. The congregation at Powell will be assisted by the brethren at Cody, with
whom Vernon Hurst is doing an effective work. Having recently come from the area, where we
met with brethren to plan the coming study, we can testify that those who are contributing to the
support of Bro. Hurst are making a real spiritual investment. We trust that many of you will plan
to take advantage of the study which will be held in an area of magnificent natural beauty. For
information write Church of Christ, P.O. Box 655, Powell, Wyoming.
