Georgia Study

The Christmas vacation Bible study conducted at 1000 East Gordon Street, Valdosta, Georgia will be long remembered in the hearts of those who were present. Classes were held morning, afternoon and night, and were well attended. The congregation spared no pains in extending hospitality to all who came. Luncheon was served each day by the sisters of the congregation. The class traveled to the Stephen Collins Foster Memorial, White Springs, Florida one afternoon. On another day a bus trip was taken to Wakulla Springs, Florida.

Outstanding were the lessons by James Mabery on "God's Providence in National Affairs" and "The Spreading Gospel." W. Carl Ketcherside also taught two classes daily. Among others from a distance who participated in the programs were Ellis Crum, Kendallville, Indiana; Arvel Watts, Flat River, Missouri; John Wash and Murl Howard, Anderson, Indiana. Local brethren, under the direction of the two elders, George Morrison and George Moulton, carried out their part of the arrangements and services in commendable fashion. The study was an occasion of rich fellowship and spiritual uplift.
