Only One Church
This will be the heading of the main article in our next issue of the paper.
It is really a sequel to a former article entitled "Members of One Body" and will be followed by a
third in the series to appear in the July number under the title "Analysis of Heresy." The next
issue will make the point that if the word "church" is to be retained as a translation of the Greek
ekklesia it is ridiculous to talk about "other churches." The term ekklesia applies
to the "called out" of God. No one else can call people out of sin and all whom the Lord calls out
are added to one church. Not only will this article reveal the folly embraced in the idea of
"joining the church of your choice" but it will demonstrate how far off the beam are those who
think you can unite the various churches.
This will be one issue that you'll want to pass on to others. Extra copies
may be secured at the rate of ten for $1.00 and the same rate applies to the forthcoming July
issue. It will be necessary for you to reserve copies of "Analysis of Heresy" in advance. Please
write immediately if you wish extra copies!
