Wyoming Study
More than sixty students from California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana,
Missouri, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Nebraska, and West Virginia, assembled with the
brethren at Powell, Wyoming, for a series of intensive studies in the word of God, June 25 - July
2. Morning and evening sessions were taught by W. Carl Ketcherside; afternoon sessions by
Clarence Cassell. A statewide meeting was held on Friday, and on the final Saturday a tour was
made to Sunlight Basin, a remote wilderness area and big game habitat. Vernon Hurst presided
over all public sessions.
At the close of the study announcement was made by Everett Allen, one
of the elders of Wheatridge congregation, near Denver, Colorado, that a similar study would be
conducted there next year during the week of the Fourth of July. Plans are being made for an
outstanding spiritual experience.
