Turner is an advocate of the modern doctrine of fellowship based on dogmatism and conformity and we urge you to send for his presentation and study his views.... Robert C. Welch of Nacogdoches, Texas, is reviewing some of the things that have appeared from the pens of Reuel Lemmons and W. Carl Ketcherside on the subject of "Fellowship" using as an organ for his presentation Gospel Guardian. There is a possibility that some injustice may be done Bro. Lemmons, editor of Firm Foundation, if it is made to appear

that he shares in all of my views. However, the examination of this important topic will do good if it kindles in the hearts of the brethren of all factions a desire to study and re-evaluate their thinking on it. Both Brothers Welch and Lemmons are my brethren in the Lord Jesus Christ, not because we agree, but in spite of our differences.... Many of our readers will remember Brother James A. Scott and will be saddened to learn that he departed from this life, June 18, at the age of 74, funeral services being conducted at Whittier, California, June 21.... Don Snyder and Janet Western were united in marriage in Kansas City, Missouri, June 25.... Don Cain and Jan Smith were married at Sullivan, Illinois, June 4.... The young peoples' meeting at Sullivan, Illinois, will be held on Labor Day weekend this year.... Jerry Reece began the vacation study at Kirksville, Missouri, with 70 present. One was immersed into Christ July 2.... Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dunham, Kansas City, Missouri, have a daughter, Laura Kay, born June 30.... Bernie Crum is conducting a meeting at Albuquerque, New Mexico, July 16-26.... Bro. Hutchison of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, spoke at Flat River and Bismarck, Missouri, June 25.... Three congregations at Sullivan, Indiana, which have been estranged from each other through the years, held a joint vacation Bible study this summer, and showed the possibility of working together in those areas where we can agree in spite of differences in other areas. We congratulate these brethren.... We are saddened to report the passing of our sister, Nell Bangert, a member of the congregation meeting at Oak Hill Chapel in Saint Louis, Missouri. Funeral services were held on July 5.... Brethren meeting at Scholes, Wigan, England, held special meetings on Saturdays and Sundays throughout June with R. B. Scott, Fred C. Day, Tom McDonald and Tom Nisbet as speakers.... Levi Clark reports that brethren at Ulverston, Lancashire, England, sadly miss Bro. Walter Crosthwaite, but will endeavor to carry on since his departure.... Mary Hendren writes from Belfast, North Ireland, of the fervent spirit of the young people in the congregation meeting on Berlin Street.... Frank Worgan who has been laboring in Holland for several years has returned to his home in England....
