     Attendance at Grove Men's Camp, near Cottage Grove, Oregon, was excellent and all those present exhibited a real desire to think through many of the problems confronting us in these days. Dean Pense presided over the services which presented speakers from various segments of the disciple brotherhood. Question forums were directed by Conley Silsby.... The editor was privileged to speak five times at Harris Prairie church, near South Bend, Indiana, on subjects related to fellowship and unity. Not an untoward incident marred the investigations in which brethren of varied views came to listen and to ask questions concerning the problem of disunity. Henry J. McAdams presided over the meetings.... Douglas and Penny Alley, Coronado, California, have a baby girl, Lynn Marnee, born August 25.... Mr. and Mrs. Larry Elwell, Tulsa, Oklahoma, have a baby boy, Zachary David, born August 28.... Harold and Rosemary Henderson, East Alton, Illinois, have a baby boy, Mark Allen, born August 30.... Nels and Marjorie Turnquist, Des Moines, Iowa, have a baby girl, Jennifer Jane, born August 22.... Freed, Topeka, Kansas, on the recent loss of her son, as the result of a heart attack. Sister Freed, 81 years old, is the widow of the late J. A. Freed, for many years an evangelist of the gospel.... We urge you to write at once and become a part of this faith-building crusade.... It is a pleasure to report that seven were immersed into Christ at Arrowhead of Ball Lake Camp, in Indiana. Walter Short reports immersing another at Manchester Avenue, St. Louis, last month.... The November number of Mission Messenger will feature two articles on "Problems in Attitude" and "The Basis of Authority." In the last one we shall examine the real bases of authority among the "Churches of Christ" in the United States and will demonstrate the wide gulf between profession and practice. In the former we will deal with the scriptural solution when there arises a conflict between personal conviction and the maintenance of a sense of brotherhood. You may not agree with what is said but we rather think you'll agree that it needs saying.... Darrell W. Bolin, 134 Susquehanna Avenue, Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, prints an attractive little paper for distribution in his area. It is called "20th Century Restoration" and is presently featuring a verse by verse study of the Colossian letter. The format is excellent and we think you might like to see a copy. Why not write Darrell for one?.... The last Restoration Review edited by Leroy Garrett contained a comparative study of "Two Old Virginians: Alexander Campbell and Thomas Jefferson." In the next issue of this quarterly, the editor will have articles as follows: The Church of Billie Sol Estes and Pat Boone; Is "Christian" the God-Appointed Name?; The Meaning of Christian Faith; and John T.
