Kingdom Kraft, a company formed to produce spiritually educational recordings on long playing high fidelity records, is issuing such a record containing a special treatise on "Who Is My Christian Brother?" by W. Carl Ketcherside. This one hour production will have many uses. You can play it for your own study, as a means of sharing with friends who visit you, or you can loan it to others or use it for special class work. You will find this one of the most thrilling experiences you have ever had, and you can share it with many others. The price of the recording is $4.95 and you can order from MISSION MESSENGER.... Christian Television Mission is investigating the possibility of a documentary film which will bring the full impact of the restoration principle and the movement which grew out of it to our contemporary religious life, so that those who are engaged in a study of ecumenicity will at least have this principle clearly delineated for study and research. It is our pleasure to share in a humble advisory role and we will keep you informed.... Approximately 100 persons attended the Fifth Consultation on Internal Unity, held in St. Louis, February 27-29. This consultation relates primarily to the problems of disunity among the Disciples of Christ and Independent Christian Churches. Although not affiliated with either segment directly, and coming from the non-instrument wing of the brotherhood, the editor was elected to serve on the committee for planning future confrontations and discussions. Since I recognize all of these immersed believers in Christ as my brothers and am deeply concerned with their problems which affect us all, I am willing to help "keep the door open" for future studies. I am convinced that it is only when someone slams the door shut that the case is crucial.... William Thurman, 5328 Allandale Road, Washington, D. C. 20016, has prepared an attractive 16 page booklet which will interest you greatly. Of special concern will be the chapters on the meaning of baptism and Biblical terms of becoming a Christian. Those who know the author's ability in teaching Greek will know something of what to expect. Bill will send you a copy without obligation upon your request.... We want to congratulate Jack Ashworth and his good wife, who live in Wickliffe, Ohio, for adopting a little girl, Shirlee Renee, who was born December 3. What a fine home that little baby will enjoy!... We commend our brethren in the various factions of the Restoration Movement heritage in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for their attempts to establish and maintain contacts with each other. During the month of April six preachers from four different factions, instrumental and non-instrumental, met to present brief papers on "Our Attitude Toward Honest Brethren with Whom We Disagree." Invitations were issued to elders and members of more than twenty congregations to attend. Truce Lewellyn of Monte Vista Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) was invited to speak recently at Heights Christian Church (Independent). All of this serves to show that brethren are working at the problem of division. When we can become free men in Christ and shake off our fear of partisan reprisal much will be done.... If you live in the Houston, Texas, area and you are interested in a meeting to explore divisions among the restoration heirs, and to promote unity among all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are asked to contact Lee Copeland, 6813 Japonica Street, or O. R. Cooper, 1950 West Clay Street.... Bill Thurman, whom we mentioned above, has accepted a position with Asheville-Biltmore College in Asheville, North Carolina, which allows him a great deal

of freedom in arranging special studies for young Christians interested in Greek, Latin or Medieval History. Those who participate will read extensively in the Septuagint, New Testament, and Vulgate. The college has recently become part of the state educational system and has constructed a new campus. If you are interested write to Brother Thurman as above.... Darrell Bolin reports a continued good attendance at Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. He recently conducted a series of meetings with the brethren meeting at Morningside Chapel in Decatur, Illinois. .... We have extra copies of Restoration Review, Second and Third Quarters, 1963, which contain the two addresses made by W. Carl Ketcherside at the Missouri Christian Lectureship, under the titles: "The Ground of Christian Fellowship," and "Agape: Foundation of Christian Fellowship." These probably summarize the thinking on fellowship better than anything else, and you can have both if you will mail a dollar bill and request them. We pay the postage.... The congregations in the Saint Louis area had a dinner meeting at Green Parrot Inn, March 20, at which James Graddy presided. Speakers were Luther Perrine, Walter Short, Bernie Crum and W. Carl Ketcherside. Jim and Ina Lee Mabery handled publicity, Ken Getter led songs.... Our feature article next month will be "Orthodoxy and Reform." Do not miss it.... We are saddened by the report of the death of our brother, Fred C. Day, Birmingham, England. Brother Day, for a number of years an elder in the congregation with which he worshiped, suffered a stroke on March 9 and died on March 22. He was the father of Jean Winstanley.... The annual young peoples' meeting at Decatur, Illinois, will be held June 19-2l at Morningside Chapel, 1212 South 34th Street. The Decatur congregations will provide lodging and meals for all who attend. For further information contact Charles A. Wilhelm, 1005 South 21st Street, or Gary Wilhelm, 2175 North Edward Street, Decatur.... We regret to report that the family of our brother, Jack Herndon, Nixa, Missouri was seriously injured in an automobile accident which claimed the life of the baby, injured the other two children, and also seriously injured the parents.... Bernie Crum reports performing two wedding ceremonies at Flat River, Missouri, March 28. In the first, Ronald B. Yanberry was united to Joyce L. Tessereau; in the second, Kenneth R. Huff was united to Beverly S.Robinson.... We are saddened by the news that our sister, Mrs. Sam Davis, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, was forced to re-enter the hospital at Morgantown, West Virginia, for additional surgery on her hip, March 23. It was estimated that she would be there for approximately one month.... We would like to solicit your aid in securing additional subscriptions for MISSION MESSENGER. Have you ever tried to secure other readers? The influence of the paper is limited by the extent of its readership, and to a great extent that readership is limited by your interest in encouraging others. We need additional readers, and if each person who presently subscribes would send only one additional name it would help a great deal. Perhaps there are some of you who have been sufficiently blessed of God that you could send a list of names and make available these messages to other members of the family of "the concerned ones." The subscription price is only $1.00 per year. Will you help us to enlist others?
