Once in a great while we see a publication which thrills us with its possibilities and with the challenging goals of its editor. We have just read for the second time Volume One, Number One, of Kerygma edited by our brother, Pat E. Harrell, Post Office Box 1001, Houston, Texas. It qualifies in every way as a thriller. This is a quarterly which is unlike anything else now in publication and we predict for it an excellent response among thinking men and women.... Buff Scott, who is laboring at Nevada, Missouri, favors us with a copy of the Nevada Daily Mail, in which he has a weekly article containing some excellent material. The printed page is sadly overlooked by brethren in many places. It has real potential as an informative medium.... Last April, brethren in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from different segments of the disciple brotherhood met to discuss the question of how we should treat those brethren who honestly disagreed with us. A number of them presented papers on the subject and these have been reproduced in neat fashion so that others can share in their thinking. You can secure one for 35c (three for $1.00) by writing to Vernon W. Hurst, 6009 Avalon Road NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105.... Vic and Gloria Richards write from a remote region in Mexico where they have been witnessing for the Christ, to thank us for the article "The Two Great Foes" which appeared in a recent issue. They report that during the past several months a number have been immersed into our Lord Jesus Christ who had been reared in the superstition of Roman Catholicism.... We are pleased to mention that in a recent meeting conducted in Alton, Illinois, by James Mabery and Ken Getter, the audiences continually increased until the house was crowded.... The brethren who meet at Lillian and Arlington Avenues, Saint Louis, had a capacity crowd on the occasion of their homecoming service for former members, held September 20.... A goodly number of brethren from various backgrounds of the restoration movement were present at Richmond, Missouri, September 19, 20, when the editor spoke on various phases of fellowship and unity, and conducted a forum for audience questioning.... During November, we are scheduled to speak at Inglewood, California, on the themes: "The Writing Spirit and The Written Code" (12); and "The Unshakable Kingdom" (13); and at Council Bluffs, Iowa, on "The Community of Faith" and "Flowing Together and Growing Together" (20); and at the Men's Fellowship, Ferris, Illinois (23).... It seems that in many areas our brethren lack that spiritual closeness with God which results in true holiness. In many places little is done about it and few seem to care. This is not true of Highland Church, Louisville, Kentucky, and we have planned a series of studies in depth entitled "The New Humanity" which will be delivered there next August 2-6. This is a long way in advance but we call it to your attention so that you can think in terms of your vacation and share with us in a thrilling spiritual experience. These meetings will be open to every sincere seeker after truth.... Harold Shasteen held a series of meetings at Fenton, Missouri, starting October 4. James Graddy began a series at Flat River on the same night.... The congregation meeting at Oak Hill Chapel had its largest Lord's Day morning crowd at the homecoming service on October 4, and Bernie Crum writes that there were 196 present on that morning in Flat River, Missouri, and 242 attended the afternoon singing. The Melody Boys Quartet from Farmersburg, Indiana, were featured in
