While returning to Saint Louis from Dallas, Texas, we were involved in an automobile accident at Marshfield, Missouri, on the morning of June 19. Otto and Margaret Schlieper of Hartford, Illinois, were with us at the time. Nell was driving with Sister Schlieper sitting beside her. I was in the rear seat working on a manuscript with Brother Schlieper sitting beside me reading an article. An elderly man drove from a side road directly into the path of our car on Highway 66. Nell suffered a badly fractured right arm at the wrist and multiple bruises. Sister Schlieper sustained three cracked ribs and bruises on both knees. Brother Schlieper was not injured. I received a laceration on the head which severed a small artery and occasioned a considerable loss of blood. We were taken to Burge Protestant Hospital at Springfield, Missouri, where brethren from many segments of the restoration movement quickly rallied to our side. Members of James River Chapel provided for our immediate needs. Since returning home many more have extended comfort and aid in one form or another. We are deeply grateful for the prayers and other demonstrations of love. Thank you all and may God bless you! The stitches were removed from my wound on June 25 and it was determined that no eye injury resulted from the blow. Nell will be forced to wear a cast until mid-August or later.... The "Seminar on Fellowship" held at Wynnewood Christian Chapel, 2303 South Tyler, Dallas, Texas, was probably one of the most significant meetings of its kind in this generation. Men from many areas of restoration thinking exchanged their thoughts freely with respect and courtesy. A Roman Catholic priest presented the thinking of Rome on the ecumenical movement and submitted to open questioning. So did a Professor of New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. The meeting was given excellent coverage by the press in Dallas. Darrell Bolin presided over the meetings in fine manner.... Dale Smith reports that the Spirit has opened up a door for work with the employees of a copper mining company in Chuquicamata (Chile). In addition to teaching in this interdenominational group of English speaking people, he is working with two Spanish speaking congregations at Chuqui and Calama.... Thomas A. Langford, who has been working on his doctorate degree at Texas Christian University will teach at Texas Tech, in Lubbock, starting this fall. He is Business Manager for Christian Appeal, a magazine which you ought to see. Write him for a sample copy at 3213 Odessa Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76109.... We salute Leon E. Tester for his resolution to publish Communion Quester as a constructive move towards visible unity of Christians in Brazil and Latin America. The prospectus outlines an excellent approach to our problems and we pray for this effort. The subscription price in the United States for this quarterly will be $3.00 and subscriptions may be sent to Leon at Caixa Postal 1484, Sao Paulo 1, Brazil.... Gynnath Ford, Box 353, New Kensington, Pennsylvania, is the publisher of numerous attractively arranged tracts. There are 30 different items in these "Soul Saving Tracts." A Ministerial Association recently ordered one thousand copies of "Can I Save Myself?" to be used at a booth at Defiance County (Ohio) Fair, August 18-24.... It will be our privilege to join with Loran Biggs and Robert Fife in leading discussions at the National Christian College-Career Conference at Camp Cedar Crest, Arrowbear Lake, California,
