Mr. Stone is a direct descendant of Barton Warren Stone.... Vernon W. Hurst will speak on the theme of unity among the believers at Platte Valley Christian College, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, February 8, 9, 10, by invitation of Ellwood Beeman, President of the school... Fred Killebrew conducted funeral services for our aged sister in Christ, Margaret Mann, one of the owners of Crystal Cave, near Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Brighton, England, January 6, 1879.... Stuart Cook and Jerry Spaulding, of Casper, Wyoming, are preparing to go to South Africa to proclaim the good news of salvation in Christ Jesus the Lord.... Bernie Crum reports a good meeting at Farmington, New Mexico, attended by brethren from various segments of the restoration movement in the area. He also spoke at Albuquerque one week-end with a good representation.... We regret to report the recent death of two sisters in the Lord, Myrtle Scott, of Flat River, Missouri, and Alice Mabery, of Bonne Terre, Missouri .... John Fleener presided and special presentations were made by James Mabery, Don Neff, Bob Duncan and Clint Evans... Jack and Carmen Kinser, Monticello, Illinois, have a son, Geffrey Riley, born August 13.... The annual young people's meeting at Decatur, Illinois, was held at Morningside Chapel on the Thanksgiving Day weekend.... A service until midnight on New Year's Eve will be conducted at the Lillian Avenue congregation, Saint Louis, Missouri, with brethren from numerous congregations participating....
