last summer.... Harold and Pamela Sue Ford put out one of the cleverest announcements we have ever seen when their son, Harold W. Ford, Jr., was born November 10. Brother Ford is Dean of Pacific Christian College, Long Beach, California.... The fact is that we've now read it twice. It is rather powerful medicine and the entire prescription is just $3.75.... Although it is quite a long time in the future we wish to mention that our July issue will deal with the problem of instrumental music in the worship, and its relationship to fellowship, in a way that it has never been handled to our recognition since the division first came in the restoration movement ranks. The theme for the July issue will be "Approach to Authority" and we intend to make some practical suggestions which will restore some degree of sanity to discussions of a matter which has moved from the rational into the emotional field.... Even farther in advance is our plan for the 1967 series upon which we are now doing research. The title for that year will be "Apples of Gold" and we will be doing word studies in depth, but presented in simplicity, which will seek to recapture the vocabulary of the Holy Spirit. We are convinced that our brethren are abusing terms and misusing expressions to justify their divisive course and it will be our intention to deal with some of these in an incontrovertible manner. It is our hope that we shall be able to produce a book which will be valued as a text long after we have departed on "the Great Adventure."... Please do not forget that we need to build up our subscription list immediately by at least one thousand names. Why not send the paper to all of the preachers in your area, or to all of the elders in your congregation? Would this not be a good investment if you are really one of the concerned ones?... It is very essential that we secure the Zip Codes of all subscribers if you are to continue to receive the paper. If your paper does not have the code on your address be sure and send it to us as soon as possible.... Happy New Year to all of our readers!
