     The discussions on fellowship which were held at Wynnewood Christian Chapel, Dallas, Texas, September 7-9, were excellent. Brethren from various segments of the restoration movement attended. It was my privilege to share the speaking program each night with Stephen Eckstein.... I had the privilege of speaking five times to the Christian ministers of the Greater Chicago Area, in a meeting conducted at the Lake Region Christian Assembly Grounds. The attendance numbered in excess of fifty and the question forums were excellent.... In the meeting with Main Street Church of Christ, Gallatin, Tennessee, we were favored with good audiences at all of the morning and evening services. Hall C. Crowder and David Schreiner are working with the brethren at Gallatin. During the meeting I was privileged to address the Kiwanis Club luncheon and also a group of brethren and friends in Murfreesboro, who came together by invitation of Dr. Norman Parks.... It will be my privilege to be guest speaker at the Alumni Rally at Atlanta Christian College, Atlanta, Georgia, November 7-9. I will speak each night in the College Gymnasium, and on Wednesday and Thursday mornings I will engage in a "Meet the Press" program during which I will answer questions of a select panel on my concepts of ministry and unity. It is our hope that we may be able to meet many of the brethren of all segments of the restoration movement who live in the Atlanta area.... On November 15, 16, I will address the Nebraska Christian College Convention, Norfolk, Nebraska, on "The Open Door to the Inner City," and "The Open Door in an Intellectual Age," in keeping with the Convention theme.... On December 12, I will speak morning, afternoon and night at the annual preaching rally at Saint Louis Christian College, where Glenn Bourne is president.... On February 13 I will speak at Erwin, Tennessee, in a meeting sponsored by the Protestant Churches of the city.... We deeply regret to report the death of Rue Porter in Neosho, Missouri, August 27. Although we debated with each other many years ago in Ozark, Missouri, we maintained a mutual love, and the last letter we received from Brother Porter when we sent him financial aid, confirmed the fact.... I have just received from Brother and Sister Lester Lemay, one of the finest gifts ever bestowed upon me, a full collection of first day covers in an album, which shows the effect of the African climate, where the Lemays have been serving the cause of our Lord by taking the Good News.... We congratulate the editor and publisher of Christian Chronicle on the new face and format of this influential newspaper. It is indeed an attractive journal.... We have seen our first copy of The New Testament News, edited by Richard Sprague, Prophetstown, Illinois 61277.... Bob Clapp, Tolono, Illinois 61880, has decided to devote his time to evangelistic work and those desirous of someone to labor in meetings and personal work may contact him at his home.... We are deeply distressed at the passing of Paul Mackey, Burbank, California, July 23. Paul, who was only 33 years of age, succumbed after a long battle against cancer.... The Dallas Times Herald featured a three-column spread on the work of Leroy Garrett in the field of Christian unity. The article, which contained a picture of Leroy, was titled, "Professor Scents Victory in Church Unity Struggle."... Daniel I. Munger, speech teacher at McCluer High School, Saint Louis, Missouri, had an article in Vocational Guidance Quarterly recently.... Abide, which is edited by Floyd W.

Mackler, Route 8, Box 876 D, Pleasant Hill, Oregon 97401, is to be printed henceforth as a quarterly. The August edition featured an article by Watchman Nee, entitled, "Faithful in Money Matters."... Dick Hardman, Nuku'alofa, Tonga, in the South Pacific, has been granted a six-month extension during which to carry on his work in this island. During his stay 95 persons have been immersed into the Lord, and several congregations started.... We should like to mention to you again the record "Dr. Burns Wants You To Have A Happy Home." This recording of an actual marriage counselling session can be used in many ways. We will send you one for only $3.25. Bob Burns is a personal friend who is minister at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.... We congratulate John and Minnie Dorman Bandy on the celebration of their wedding anniversary September 16. They reside at Summersville, Missouri.... The Lillian Avenue Church of Christ was host to a large audience at the homecoming service on September 24, at which Hershel Ottwell and W. Carl Ketcherside were speakers. Brother Ottwell continued in a meeting for one wee.... Lamar Clark and John Henry Morgan have formed a bi-racial team to infiltrate the inner city ghetto with a relevant message. In the Hough slum area in Cleveland, they conducted a series of meetings with the slogan "Bible Preaching for Hot Nights" with some of the meetings being held in an abandoned apartment house, and others in an old former funeral home.... Rosemary Keesling, Washington, D.C., was forced to undergo major abdominal surgery, but we are happy with the report of improvement.... We are saddened by the death of our sister in Christ, Ella Frances Jones, wife of Wayne Jones, an elder at 5906 Kenwood Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri.... One of our regular readers who writes encouragingly is Bruce Nay, Secretary of Christmount Christian Assembly, Black Mountain, North Carolina. He was eighty years old on September 3....
